I bought 2 cheeseburgers for 8 Rubles each. Then I went to a cafe. We are drinking coffee, charging the computer, and resting. And I spent 3 hours in the cafe. It was already 11. I am heading to the hostel.

The hostel is located in the suburban and nobody was answering calls. I called them on WhatsApp and Natalia picked up the call, but they didn't say anything and didn't reply to my message. Then an old woman walked out, she is Natalia. I went inside and handed her my passport. Natalia was sitting at the computer and it literally took forever. She was also talking to someone on the phone and she spoke with other people. Finally, she let me pay. I washed my clothes for 5 Rubles and took a shower.

There are 2 old men talking loudly in the kitchen. They were from Mexico, and they looked very dirty with unkempt beards. Someone on the bed next to me was from Azerbajian and his Russian is poor. Anyway, I am sleeping.
17:00. I got up. I think I slept for 2 hours or so. But everythign is fine. I went to exchange 300 RMB for 123.6 Rubles.

19:30. I am going to Зыбицкая улица. I paid for 2 days and I told Natalia in the hostel I needed one more day. Natalia said, "До 12". I need to come back before 12?
Since we are here, let's enjoy the nightlife. It was on this trip that "nightlife" first came into my vocabulary. So I think I would just stay up all night and come back in the morning.

I walked to the main street for bars. There weren't many people here yet. Two very tall women were giving out ads about the new bar Roxx, but it's very expensive. Then they spoke to me in broken English. I asked could I make friends in the bar? They said yes. And I only have 115 Rubles.
I went into Rasputin. 20:40. And I am sitting alone drinking tea again. I spent 31 Rubles, 11 on tea and 20 on food. The waiter didn't bring me a spoon. I went over and said, "Ложку!" He went to bring the spoon with me and tried to wrap it in a towel, or whatever it was. I said, "Просто ложку! Спасибо! Спасибо вам!" He gave me just the spoon. 21:20. I am leaving this bar.

I am hearing the song Kukushka again. I walked up and said hi. The man said, "это похоже на классическую песню в Беларуси". Then he added, "Я не знаю китайского". That was quite strange, but in any case, they don't seem to be interested in talking to me, so I left.

And here is Galleria. But the city center just seems very small and old.

I went into Roxx. It was just a standard luxurious restaurant. Waitress Angelina told me to sit at a table of 4. There is also a waiter Egor here. I ordered apple juice for 18 Rubles. I went to the table, and a waitress asked, "Не забронировано?" "Ну, Ангелина сказала я могу здесь сидеть." Then I asked Angelina, "Где танцевать?" Angelina said after 23:00, and it's 22:40 now. Another waiter Yevgeny approached me and asked, "Добрый вечер, чем я могу вам помочь?" I said: "Я уже сделал заказ. Здравствуйте, Евгений, спасибо вам!" Another waitress asked me, "Могу вам помочь? Что вы делаете?" "Я уже сделал заказ." "Вы ждете друзей?" "Нет, нет, я один." She said you have to wait a while for dancing, then she said, "Хорошо вечер."

I waited for more than 30 minutes, but nobody bought me my apple juice. I was sitting alone and watching other people, and someone was singing, and people would clap after the song. I was completely ignored. I walked up and said hello to a waiter, but he didn't answer me. I've scrolled my phone for 50 minutes already. Finally, a waiter responded me, and I told him I ordered an apple juice and it's been 50 minutes. Yevgeny finally gave me the 230 ml apple juice. An hour passed and nobody is dancing. It is all just incredibly boring. I paid 15 Rubles and left.

00:00. The place gets more crowded. I see many people dating. I am not trying to hookup anyway. I live in a hostel, and I am not using any dating apps. I am just lonely.

I walked up to a park bench near the Bolshoi Theatre. There was nobody around. I sat down and I suddeenly felt deeply emotional and I started crying. I hadn't felt anything during the 50-minute police interrogations, riding the hot elektrichka without water, the overnight train without running water, the crowded hostel in Minsk, the smelly drunk old man in the hostel in Grodno, or all the sleeping deprivation I had. I suddenly could not hold it back. I sat there and cried for an hour, from 00:20 to 01:20.

At 01:30, there are more people than ever on the street.

I walked into a nightclub Форест. Everyone is dancing and the music was loud. I ordered tea for 5 Rubles. I wondered if someone would go deaf if they work everyday in nightclubs? I counted, and there are 17 women and 10 men inside, not including mself. There are 4 more male bartenders.
02:00. I got out. I don't dance and I wasn't doing anything. There are some black men on the streets. Nightlife for me is always like, go in a bar, orer tea/juice/soup, sit alone for an hour, then leave.

I went into a restaurant! It's not too crowded or noisy here. Zavtraki. I have 33% battery left. Oatmeal and yogurt, 15 Rubles. The yogurt is tasty and there are also free lemonade here. It opens until 8 am. The place is so good and there are only 6 people here. Oh, how happy that I still have money in my Sberbank card and my phone still has 28% battery! And I can charge my phone. I felt like crying in the restaurant again, but I did not have tears left. Crying made me happy. But the loneliness never left me. I am sad. I ate the lemon slice from the lemonade, and it was tasty. If you have lemon, just eat it, don't make lemonade. I went outside, walked around, and sat down on a bench again.

03:15.
How quickly I am changing! I already want to leave Belarus. I realized that I am just different from most people, and trying to fit into a bar would simply be awkward. I think this is just part of who you are. I want to go to smaller cities for the next 2 days.
The street is still full of people. Two men were being arrested by the police and taken on a car. I can hear "Группа Крови". Honestly, even Tsoi is getting boring. Then the song "знаете ли ты" was playing again and again.
There were a man and a woman. The woman could barely walk and collapsed into the lawn, and the man lay down next to her. She took off her pants, then put them back on, and whispered "taxi".

04:10. I was trying a Yandex scooter. But you have to specify your destination, and I ended up not using it.
04:20, and the main parts of the street is still full of people, while the other areas are quiet. At 04:30 the bars are closing, and you can't get in anymore. Usually they close at 5.
I am going back to the previous restaurant. I'll probably sit there for an hour. There aren't a lot of people or loud music there. Blini and yogurt, 17 Rubles.

5:30, and I am going back to the hostel by metro. There are fewer people on the streets now.

06:30. I am at the hostel. I rang the bell and I couldn't get in. Even though I am done with nightlife, this is the first hostel that traps people outside. My sleeping schedule is all messed up. In the end Natalia opened the door for me. 06:50.
