Visiting the Village of Yanukovych

I slept at 1 and woke up at 9. I asked, "Is there anything else to see?" Sergey said no. I said goodbye. Sergey said goodbye. I don't know what a village is actually like, there are hot water, indoor plumbing, Internet, and cars.

Anyway, I am going back to Minsk. I ran to the train station, and I got there just 1 minute early, at 11:09, just as the red light came on. I crossed the street and I went into the ticket booth immediately, shouting, "Minsk!" The woman handed me a ticket and we got on the train.

And here we are in Minsk. The early bus leaves at 12:30, then at 15:30, so I better catch the early bus.

I missed the bus because I messed up in the subway a little. I am stuck in Minsk for another 3 hours. There are all those Soviet regions here: Советский район, Партизанский район, Ленинский район, Октябрьский район.

And I saw an ad of Shaman. What is he doing in Belarus? Singing "я русский"? And the tickets cost 100-400 Rubles, a huge sum here. It was strange.

1000 Yuan, 410 Rubles exchanged in MT Bank. Now I am going to watch "Москва слезам не верит" for an hour. Katya had sex with Volodya, Katya stops in the Lada car, and there are the sister buildings in Moscow. A man is reading a newspaper. Katya sleeps during a picnic in the park, and Gosha gave her a blanket. Katya, Alexandra, Gosha are eating together.

My whole body itches from the mosquito bites. I bought 3 liters of water with me and it's so heavy.

And the bus came. It took over an hour and cost 8 Rubles. The bus was hot and they opened the overhead window, and it became cooler. So I am watching "Mary Poppins" on the bus.

There are 2 young men and 2 young women inside with naked toddlers in the pools. They all had very little clothing. One woman is named Vera, the other Karolina, and they spoke to me in English. There is a barbecue place here too. There isn't any food so I have to buy them myself. "What food do you have?" They asked, and I said I got bread. The shop closes at 7 pm. They asked, "You are not studying in Minsk?" I said I am studying in China. They said Belarussian is useless. Alexander gave me a discount, so it was 55 Rubles, and I paid 50 Rubles in cash.

They told me I can go to the sauna right now. They said they would leave soon and told me to go back and change my clothes. I changed my clothes and ran into the sauna house. I had never been to a sauna before and I was a little afraid that it might cause some discomfort. At first everything is cool, and then you start to sweat a lot. It's like showering in your own sweat. It starts at 40 degrees, then it goes up to 70, 80 degrees. After a while Alexander joined. Alexander was 58 years old, and Max and Vas are 31, 32. And I am 20. They have two or three siblings - everyone have a brother or sister. They live in Minsk and Alexander is the uncle. They said this is a tourist place, so it's better than the average. I asked if they played hockey or skates, they said yes, but it's not the season. They say going to sauna is common, you do it in winter and then you plunge into the ice. Alexander threw a basket of water on his head. "Ты хочешь это сделать?" I said no and it might make me sick.

Someone knocked on the door while I was in the toilet. It was Alexander. He brought me a huge plate of meat and all sorts of stuff. Oh I am so grateful! I said thank you again and again.

The young people left. Everything was quiet. I walked around the village for about an hour.
