Visiting the Village of Malinniki

I slept at 3 and woke up at 9. I went to exchange another 2000 Yuan. 822 Rubles.

I wrote to Sergey on Kufar. I might miss the 12:42 train, but there is another one at 13:54 from Minsk. It's a village of 20 people, but there are other villages around it.

До свидания Молодечно.

And we are at Minsk Pass.

There are Chinese cars parked at the shopping center.

I bought some pastries in the stalls under Minsk Pass. The babushka said it cooled down. So she put it into a microwave. And it feel apart, but I said it was вкусно. On the train. It cost 1.6 Rubles to go to Рыбцы. 35 km, 43 minutes, and there are like 80% elder people here. It is very hot inside.

I got off at рыбцы. There is still mobile data.

Деревня Малинники, малина, Малинин, Калинка-Малинка, all of these words are related.

A tall, young man was walking there. I showed him the place. He told me how to get there - go straight, then right. I said спасибо. There are some aggressive dogs here in the village houses. Fortunately, they didn't bite me. I messaged Sergey on Kufar.

Sergey came out and greeted me. It was just me, Sergey, and a boy in the house. "Как ты нас нашел?" "На Куфаре." I asked "Иностранцы бывали здесь раньше?" "Бывают." Sergey then mostly spoke to me in English.

I wanted to transfer him 45 Rubles via the app, but the banking app had a glitch, so I paid him 45 in cash. You pay half the amount upfront and the other half on-site. The room is for 2 people, though I am staying alone. Sergey had some fish and a pool, but the pool was too dirty.

There are no stores in the village. Sergey asked me if I bought groceries. He asked me what I was supposed to do if I didn't have anything. I don't know. Sergey said he is going to shopping right now. So I am sitting in his Pathfinder car to go to the supermarket. He speaks English very well. There are some cows here. "Do people know each other here?" Yes. He said they work in towns on Monday and won't be back home until late in the evening. I bought воды, хлеба, выпечку, тортильи, and йогурта in the supermarket in Зазерка.

The room has a functioning toilet, good mobile reception, and a fridge. It's just a 10 minute walk and 40 minute train ride to Minsk. It's mostly like a resort instead of songs like "И река течет" or "Кон".

Tomorrow I would get some more cash in Minsk.

I went outside. Sergey has another guest. I asked Sergey what should I do? Sergey said I should walk around the area. Do the dogs bit? Sergey said no. Anyway, it's not the villages you hear in songs by Lyube. It's only 1 km to the bigger district. I wonder if it goes pitch black at night? There are no streetlights.

This village is larger, with at least 30 horizontal and 10 vertical roads. There must be thousands of people living here. It is only 1 km to an агрогородок. The car drives on the kind of road with grass in the middle and less grass on the side. Someone didn't lock the door and a dog came barking at me again. I got really scared. There are a lot of mosquitos and I am itching like crazy. Yandex said the shops are open, but they are closed. Then I saw many trees being cut down. Anyway, I am heading to the village Ушанка to take the bus back to Зазерье.

There are less mosquitos in the open fields. And I walked at least 5-6 km already to the bus station. The bus still hadn't arrived, and it is becoming late, though there is another woman waiting in the bus stop as well. If it doesn't show up, we would have to walk 5 km back. Then the bus arrived 9 minutes late. I said I am going to Зазерье. The driver said, "Точно Зазерье?" I said yes. And I am in the same supermarket I visited earlier with Sergey.

I wanted to catch the train back from Зазерье. But I got on the wrong side of the platform, and when the train arrived, I couldn't go there. So it's another 2.5 km of walk!

And I came back. The young man told me I had left my key on my door for 3 hours. What was I thinking?
